February 17, 2022 - 6:30 pm -7:30 pm

In person attendance for this event is now SOLD OUT. You can still register to attend via Zoom.

Join Beaches Museum for a Boardwalk Talk with Bill Delaney author of “Secret Jacksonville: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful, and Obscure” on February 17 at 6:30 p.m. in the Beaches Museum Chapel.

Secret Jacksonville is dedicated to telling the stories behind forgotten, mysterious and just plain interesting spots across Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Fernandina Beach and the surrounding communities.

According to Delaney, “You could call Jacksonville the secret city of Florida because even many natives have a tough time pinning down its defining features and best spots. But for anyone willing to dig beneath the surface, there’s no shortage of incredible sights, hidden histories and unusual relics just waiting to be discovered.”

Delaney is a writer, editor and higher education professional from Jacksonville whose work focuses on the culture and history of the First Coast. He is co-owner and editor of the publications Modern Cities, TheJaxsonMag.com and Edible Northeast Florida Magazine.

This event is free to Museum members with a $5 suggested donation for non-members. Pre-registration for this event is required. Please pre-register HERE. For more information on this event please call 904-241-5657 or visit www.beachesmuseum.com
