Lights, camera, action! Join Dorothy K. Fletcher as she discusses her newest book, “Historic Jacksonville Theatre Palaces, Drive-Ins and Movie Houses”. Fletcher revives the exciting stories of Jacksonville’s theatres. Everything from the Dixie Theatre which faded in 1909 to the Alhambra, a favorite dinner theatre since 1967, these unique histories are rich with their own drama and flair.
The Whistle Talk is free to Museum members and a suggested donation of $5.00 for non-Museum members.
This talk will be held in the Museum’s Dickinson Gallery.
