Beaches Museum to open Palm Valley Exhibit

Palm Valley PostcardJACKSONVILLE BEACH, FL-The upcoming Beaches Museum exhibit will have something for everyone interested in Beaches history.

“Palmettos, Piers & Pioneers”, tells the story of Palm Valley, and on February 19, you can join some of that areas most well-known residents for opening night festivities in the Museum lobby. Admission to the opening night party is free, but donations are appreciated.

From 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. you will enjoy the tastes and sounds of old Palm Valley as you mingle with local authors and historians. The exhibit itself runs from February 19 through April 5, and admission is free.

This quiet community is alive with history and stories from the early Spanish settlers to the pioneers who called it home and the families who protect its legacy today, this quiet community is alive with history and [memorable] stories. Join us as we travel through the areas of Palm Valley-Twenty Mile Station, Palm Valley Bridge, the Neck, Mickler’s Pier, Diego Plains and Palm Valley Landing,-and learn about the families and industries that have shaped this community.
